Zafirah of Montreal/Canada is a multidisciplinary artist. She devotes her life to her art, especially to Middle Eastern Dance since 6 years now. She offers weekly classes and private lessons for all levels and seminars on technique, choreography and props in Québec, and now in Canada and USA.

Recent career highlights include:

In November 2010, she won Belly Dancer Nations, Proptastic, Shimilicious Award, Josephine Baker Award, People’s Choice and Miss Congeniality at the BDNC of Baltimore.

In May 2010, she won first runner up at the BellyDancer of the Year Competition in California and the Miss Congeniality.

In November 2009, she won third place in folklorique dance at the BellyDancer of the World Competition in Germany.

In July 2008, she won first place in Classical and first place in Fusion Categorie at the Joliette(Canada) Competition

In September 2007, she won first runner up at the AQDO competition in Montréal (Canada).
