Drissia Nejma (France
/ Morocco)
Drissia Nejma was born and raised in Morocco and after completing
studies of oriental dance with renowned artists, including Diana Tarkan,
Raqia Hassan, Momo Kadous, Mahmoud Reda and musician Haki Kilic for
learning Middle Eastern rhythms, since 2002 has taught her passion
in Montpellier (France) and surroundings.
With a joyful and simple character, discreet and with a big love for
her culture, Drissia's slogan is to transmit culture and love through
the oriental dance, that represents a sharing time and never a pronounced
ostentation.
The veracity and simplicity, and professionalism of Drissia (she follows
regulary specialistic training) are appreciated in Oriental Dance
world; she is regularly invited to teach to the Holiday Festival Dahab
by Tara Dagumer Turkey, a big event with important teachers such as
Jillin, Aziza, Wendy Buenaventura etc; and to Ahlan Wa Sahlan Cairo
Festival by Raqia Hassan.

In 2005 she was Hafsia Herz's choreographic consultant - Marcello
Mastroianni Award as young actresses for the 64th Venice Film Festival,
film "La Graine et le Mulet" by Abdelatif Kechiche (Prix
Louis Delluc).
This year has been coach of the dancer Katerina Shereen Šafrová
for the "Bellydancer of the Universe" held in California,
the preparation that has earned her the title of winner.
Drissia continues to teach and refine his passion with enthusiasm,
believing that the work of learning oriental dance never ends.
